    Description

    Antique 19th century, c1860s, original ruby ambrotype photograph.  Depicts a portrait of a dapper young man in period suit, tie and coat.  Protected behind glass and housed in a brass mat and preserver in a full leather case.
    In Good/As Found overall condition.  Ambrotype is clear and displays handsomely.  Case is clean but split with a tape repair.  Displays handsomely.
    Measures 2” x 2 1/2”.  Case measures 3” x 2 1/2” x 7/8” thick.
