Description
The Mares Prestige 2S Regulator is an excellent choice for intensive rental use in the Diving Centers and for all divers who want reliability! The 2S first stage is the evolution of the piston regulator. The first stage is made of marine grade brass with a sandblasted finish for increase scratch resistance. The protection cover of the first stage is designed to allow the installation of an optional RFID chip for rental use managed by dedicated PC software. The lightweight compact and sturdy non-balanced first stage piston design with its Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) system minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during inhalation, making it possible to use a simpler and more reliable second stage regulator further increasing reliability. The DFC does not require any type of manual adjustment for the second stage due to the consistency of the stable air flow, even under extreme conditions. The first stage is equipped with one 7/16" threaded high pressure and four 3/8" threaded low pressure ports.
The second stage Vortex Assist Design (V.A.D.) system: the air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center this keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, giving very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. The second stage cover features the new "mesh-grid" system for water inflow and outflow, which provides a further performance improvement. The compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. Mares Prestige second stage incorporates the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, which is engineered to receive and properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing. All enclosed in a lightweight Techno-Polymer housing. Regulator has the super flex hose. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and reducing jaw fatigue. Super flex hose has 3/8" Threads and is 31.5" (80cm) in length. The regulator weighs 38.4 oz. (1.089 g).

Inspect the equipment when it arrives, and if you're not fully satisfied you can return it for a full refund (less the shipping charge) as long as you haven't used it. We won't even ask why you've changed your mind.
You'll need the original manufacturers labeled packaging with all materials, manuals and blank warranty cards.
