The Legend belongs to Aqua Lung's top of the line regulator series and shares many common features and performance characteristics with the higher end Legend LUX and Legend LX. One notable difference is that instead of having a Master Breathing System (MBS) dual control valve, the Legend is equipped with a venturi switch. The Legend is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and may qualify for Aqua Lung's free parts for life program.*

First Stage
The Legend's first stage is equipped with an Auto Closure Device (ACD) that automatically closes as the first stage is removed from the cylinder. This stops water from entering the inlet thus preventing corrosion and keeping internal lubrication from washing out. The first stage is also equipped with an environmental dry seal system that keeps contaminants out of the main spring chamber and prevents it from freezing when diving in extremely cold conditions. It is safe to use with higher oxygen percentages and the unique over-balanced diaphragm makes for superior breathing performance. The Legend's first stage is supplied with 2 HP ports and 4 MP ports arranged at an angle for the best possible hose routing. The Legend's first stage is available in DIN or yoke configurations and is EAN 40 compatible from new.
Second Stage
Pneumatically-balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing
A venturi switch helps prevent freeflow at the surface and when the regulator is out of the diver’s mouth
The opening effort is preset in a fixed position so the diver doesn’t have to worry about adjusting the regulator during the dive
The Comfo-Bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw-fatigue
A heat exchanger (patented) which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water
The ergonomic exhaust tee channels the exhaust bubbles out of your field of vision. The design also contributes to a reduction in exhalation effort
Attached to a 29” braided Aqua Flex hose. These hoses are lightweight and extremely pliable which eliminates any tugging on the mouthpiece
